Co-owner, Viticulturist and Winemaker Craig Daly began his career in the wine industry in 1996. Heading to Australia in search of vineyard experience and education, graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2001 with a degree in Viticulture.  

After graduation Craig was appointed Vineyard Manager/Viticulturist for the new wine enterprise that is Lamont Wines under the ownership of the McLachlan family..

Craig, along with the McLachlan's, then set about establishing Lamont as premium member of the Central Otago wine family.

Craig and wife Angela Gasson (along with the two dogs Zola and BJ) now own and run Lamont Wines, continuining the tradition and philosophies that were created from Lamont Wines inception in 1999
