Lamont for the third year running, has achieved the Blue-Gold medal award from the Sydney International Wine Show. This is a great achievement and really shows the consistent quality of what we are doing here at Lamont. Lamont has now achieved a Gold Medal standard for every vintage of Pinot Noir, of which we are so excited to see.

Lamont Wines keep producing Liquid Gold from the old gold mining area of Bendigo, Central Otago - The Lamont 2007 Pinot Noir was awarded the trophy for "Best Pinot Noir" at the Sydney International Wine Competition Awards Banquet held at the Shangri La Hotel on 26 February 2011. The accolade comes hot on the heels of winning a Blue/Gold Top 100 Medal, for not only the Pinot Noir but also the 2009 Pinot Gris.

Lamont Wines is thrilled to join the elite group of wineries in the Selador Wines portfolio. Selador Wines is a wine distribution company, owned by Sarah Andrew and Kathryn Sparks, based in Melbourne and covering sales in New South Wales and Victoria. We are delighted they will distribute our range of premium wines exclusively in these areas.

We recently attended a Selador Wine Trade Week in Melbourne, and discovered that our wines can already be found in top end restaurants, cafes, bars and fine wine outlets. With two days out on the road with Sarah and Jackson, the feedback from new and prospective customers was very positive and we look forward to building a strong and prosperous relationship with Selador Wines.
