2019 PINOT NOIR

A wine that straddles the line between power and finesse, which so captures the potential of these high-altitude sites in Bendigo. 2019 allowed for ideal growing conditions for perfect ripeness and balanced acidity due to the uniform summer and long autumn. On the nose, this wine shows elevated fruit aromas of boysenberry and ripe plum accompanied by some savoury notes of subtle mushroom and earthy spice. Floral notes are also expressed, notably that of rosehip. The palette is concentrated with notes of dense cherry and blackberry grounded by an earthy savoury character. The palate is exuberant with fresh acidity and embraced by silky fine-grained tannins. A harmonious, lively and concentrated wine to be enjoyed in its youth and beyond (10+ years).
